It's been a while since I've heard an official announcement, however I do remember hearing that the ladder would last approximately four months. This means that we're about halfway through and I'd like to finish my first character and create another before the end of. I've been playing this character on my own since the D2r ladder started, doing every quest and making on my own. The only thing I have left is Ubers.

I've got a L89 Barb with Grief+Lawbringer Treachery and the War Travs, LoH, Ravenfrost, String of Ears, Nagelring, Crescent Moon, and G-Face. I'll modify it to the MF. IK Helmet with 2xP Topaz Oath Cryptic Sword and 2x Ali Baba in the switch to hork. I have an arreat as well.

Maxed: frenzyand double swing BO, mastery and frenzy. A few points to finding item and finding pots as well as a couple of points to an increase in stamina.

I'm able to max out the res of Fade Proc'd, but that for Ubers I'd prefer Duress to get the CB. I'm hoping to buy Gore Riders and switch to Dracs too. I'm planning to switch out the amulet and ring to Angelic to boost my AR. I have an anni and torch in the meantime.

My main concern is weapons. I'm thinking about a weapon offhand that can be used in conjunction with Grief. I'm certain I'm looking to get a devastating blows, possibly more open wounds, and a deadly strikes, however I'm interested to know whether you'd be comfortable with the Silence blade to reduce the impact of Conviction. Also, I have a few Ists along with an Ohm I can trade in with an Vex and I also have the phase blade.

In other words, I came across an incredibly nice super Caduceus that has no automods and am thinking of saving to transform it into the Beast. Even in the event that I don't end making use of Maces my next character is likely to be a summoner, and I think it could gain. I'd likely go with similar to Schaeffer's Stone Crusher for offhand. The biggest issue is cost. I'm pretty sure I'd rather have my first Ber to make an Enigma however, not necessarily.

TLDR: I'm looking to conquer Ubers but without investing too excessively. Perhaps as much as a Ber if I change to mace mastery to earn style points.
