Tips to Coaching Adjustments in Madden 20

Nov-25-2019 PST Category: Madden 20
In the old NCAA college football series, coaching adjustments were very popular, and EA Sports achieved great success, but this adjustment was stopped due to disputes with universities. It has been part of Madden since 2018 and is adjusted every year to try to find the right place between the differences that are too big or too small. But this year, it has undoubtedly become more important.

Below, we explored all the coaching adjustments you can make with Mut 20 coins. While in the game, these adjustments are displayed at the bottom of the script options before the game is selected. This is for offense and defense. When the user selects the Coach Adjustment option, they will go to the next page with a list of Coach Adjustments available for the side of the ball being played.

By default, each adjustment is set to Balance. This means that standard game conditions will be applied according to the mode the user is in. If you want to be more nuanced, read on... As with everything in Madden, these are trade-off options, often with a certain degree of risk and reward.

Offensive Adjustments

Ball Carrier

Balance – standard game settings.

Conservative – this will better protect the ball and reduce the risk of falling. But this does reduce the possibility of tackles.

Aggressive – this increases the chances of tackle breaking and extra yards, but increases the risk of tipping.

Blocking

Balance – standard game settings.

Conservative – this will make the lock tighter and reduce the risk of holding, but it also reduces the chance of bouncing the spring into a large, massive block.

Aggressive – this increases the chances of a large pancake block and increases the chances of delays and wrong starting points.

Deep Pass Catching

Balance – standard game settings.

Conservative – this always triggers the catcher's offensive catch, which allows them to fight for the ball, but does limit any yards after catching the ball.

Aggressive – always triggers the code after the catcher catches the ball, which prepares them to run after catching the ball, but reduces the chance of catching the ball and increases the risk of being intercepted.

Intermediate Pass Catching

Balance – standard game settings.

Conservative – the catcher will always try to control the ball, but this limits the number of extra yards they can get from the yards after catching the ball.

Aggressive – The catcher will attempt to pass the ball after the receiver or the aggressor catches the ball, but there is a danger of knocking the ball down.

Defensive Adjustments

Autoflip Defensive Play Call

On – CPU automatically flip the play call depending on the side the offense lines up on.

Off – This functionality is disabled. Only the Madden masters would turn this off. This is because they want to confuse the opposition.

Auto- Alignment

Default - The defender will align according to its default alignment rules.

Base – The defender will align according to its basic alignment rules. They will line up according to your choice and have nothing to do with the offense.

Man – Defenders will be assigned based on their coverage. Even if you choose a regional game.

Ball In The Air Defense

Balanced – Players will play according to their own characteristics.

Play Ball – the defender will catch the ball if two people catch the ball. The chance of interception increases, but it also increases the chances of the player missing or giving up the ball.

Play Receiver – the defender will hit the catcher in the case of two catchers. Reduce the chance of intercepting or flicking, but it will increase the chance of tackle or groping.

Swat Ball – the defender will try to beat the ball with two catches. Increased the chance of a pass, but the player will not try to intercept.

Cornerback Matchups

Balanced – Matchups are determined by standard gameplay settings.

By Overall – the best CB will be in conflict with the best WR in every game. We saw this in the NFL, which is great when you have a CB star and want to fight against the WR star.

By speed – the fastest CB will conflict with the fastest WR to pass the team. This is good for preventing depth from crossing the field.

By height – the highest CB will compete against the highest WR to pass the team. This is important near the end of the area in case the opponent passes high.

By Route Running – the highest scored person cover CB will collide with the highest rated route WR to pass the entire team.

By Depth Chart – A direct matchup of the depth charts.

Option Defense

Balance – standard game settings.

Conservatives – focus on QB and prevent them from opening up for a big win. But this makes the pitch option more open.

Proactive – focus on choice and prevent them from opening their doors to victory. But this makes QB more open.

Strip Ball

Balance – standard game settings.

Conservative – reduce the chance of breaking the ball. Especially suitable for large HB with armrest function. The CPU doesn't try to bring the ball, so the chance to serve is much less.

Aggressive - will increase the chance of groping, but will also increase the chance of a tackle or a mask. One that is used when there is an urgent need for substitution at the end of the game.

Tackling

Balance – standard game settings.

Conservative – The defender is aggressively attacking, and the chance of completely missing is small, but this increases the likelihood of passing the ball after the contact, and the ball carrier falls forward to get the yardage.

Aggressive – increases the chances of failure, but also increases the chance of smashing tackles, counterfeiting or masking fines caused by jokes and spins.
